Global Prophetic Initiative by Curtis Humphrey
KENYAN KCN/GPI DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR 4-9 May,2005.
After traveling/flying for thirty five hours since Tuesday,
I arrive in the land of the Massai (the National flag in
the airport consists of a large oval shaped elongated
shield and two even longer spears crossed behind the shield
as a multiplication sign against the backdrop of three
bands of black green and red, interspersed by two ribbons
of white separating the colours.) It is beautiful flag. I
like it.
Kenya is a nation located on the north eastern end of Sub
Saharan Africa. Located a sea front of the Indian Ocean it
is 650,000 square miles with a population of 32 million
people comprising of 42 tribes. 70% of the population lives
below the poverty line, with a $300. per capita income in
comparison to $7000. in Botswana (agrarian society*.)
There are at least five universities where many of the
Congress young people attend. This is extremely commendable
and exemplary. The legacy of the Kenyan heritage and the
culture shock in comparison to the African Diaspora was a
major eye opening experience.

It is Thursday 9pm. I am in the airport. The custom
official is a real pleasant guy and a ‘good learner’,
because after doing my background research I was able to
inform him of the fact that Kenya is a commonwealth country
as is Trinidad and Tobago. One does not need a visa, per
se, unless one plans to stay in the country for more than
three months. He simply said, “Okay.” Nice guy!!! I am out
the door.
I see Luke, one of the pastors of the KCN Kenya, also a
professor at the Kenyatta University, whom I met, along
with Andrew, Kenneth and Njoroge at the Intensive Apostolic
Encounter 2003. We greeted like family.
Guys it never ceases to amaze me the quality of the
seamless joining in the Congress as a family. I have not
seen Luke for almost two years and we connected as if we
saw each other the day before. Such a beautiful global
family–our Congress!!!
I was taken to the hotel where Scott and I would stay for
the duration of our visit to our Kenyan KCN/GPI Seminar.
Scott was at Njoroge’s Community (Life Reformation Centre)
in Githurie in Nairobi.
I was greeted by a hospitality Group and presented with a
bouquet of flowers. What a pleasant surprise and a culture
shock. It is usually the women who are presented with
flowers in our country. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant
display of hospitality and welcome from the brethren.
Scott was brought to his room, he had arrived the day
before me, and we spoke briefly to meet in the morning. It
is 11pm! He had to be taken to a radio station at six in
the morning for an interview, arranged by the KCN.
The following morning we met for breakfast along with
Obadiah, an excellent young businessman and Associate Elder
in Pastor Ayiro’s Community, who was designated to be our
driver for most of the stay in Kenya. Scott and I discussed
the schedule for the meetings.
Obadiah informed us of some of the ridiculously, outrageous
exploitations of the Kenyan Church by the colonialistic,
hegemonious Church of the West. It is appalling and
infuriating to hear of the excessive abuses that are
foisted upon the gullible Church in the nation and Africa
in general. One is not indignant against people, but
against the diabolical systems that pervert the image of
Christ and His Church in the earth. Thank God for the
Apostolic Reformation and C-WBN!!!!!!!!!
Seminar begins at the Public Building.
The Seminar began with approximately twenty five Pastors,
and their wives in most cases, and the core leaders of the
respective Kingdom Communities. This amounted to
approximately one hundred leaders. That is where I met
Joseph and was formally introduced to all the KCN family.
I was adopted as an honorary Kenyan and expatriate who
returned after a long time away, having been snatched from
Ghana, while going on a business trip! My Kenyan name is
Kamau from Western Kenya. This was the gist of my
introduction by Njoroge to the assembly.
I was totally at home with Scott, Joseph and my other
C-WBN family. Incidentally, Scott is an honorary Masai in
white skin.
The sessions were structured to facilitate the defining of
the GPI and the Sections with a focus on the defining of
the KCN DG and the Church Prophets Group.
Scott did an excellent presentation on the new developments
of the GPI and the fulfillment of the mandate given by DNW
for the impacting of all the KCN Senior Elders and
Communities throughout our vast and rapidly expanding world
of Congress WBN.
Assessments of the KCN Kenya and SDC.
The KCN Coordinator for Eastern Africa/Kenya is Joseph
Njoroge. Joseph is doing an excellent work in the nation
and in the region.
There is an emerging structural redefining that is
producing a core team around him that includes people who
are facilitating development for several chapters of the
Sectors of the C-WBN such as the WBNC, GLI Professional,
KCN, RTA and soon to come on stream, representatives who
can be resourceful to the GPI Sector at the discretion of
the GPI Director.
As a Global Congress Leader he (Njoroge) is in a very
evident process of developing multi-tasking ability and the
complexifying of systems that is commensurate with the
capacity that God is releasing, continuously, into the
Global Congress Leadership, for the development and
building of our Congress.
It is amazing what God is doing in the nation and the
evident growth in him that is reflected in the systems and
the Core Team that he is building.
As a son of DNW he is ‘prima facie’ evidence that
relationship to the Primary Apostolic Grace is not about
geographical location or physical nearness but that of
relational proximity and personal purity.
It was very noticeable in the general leadership (Senior
Elders) that there has been a great deal of proliferation
of the Apostolic Hodos/Ways of DNW in the hearts of many.
Observation/recommendation.
Scott and I discussed and recognized the need for all the
prophetic dynamics and mystical encounters of God’s
dealings and doings with DNW, through the years from
1987(?) should be collected on a CD/DVD and proliferated as
part of the Operating Systems of the entire GPI Sector.
At the heart of the Congress Way is the prophetic dynamics
that have occurred in DNW’s life. This DVD should be
mandatory for the KCN Development Group and the Nations
Development Group within the GPI Sector.
From the first session on the first day and throughout the
rest of our stay here in Kenya, I was conscious of the ways
that God birthed World Breakthrough Network thirteen years
ago and even Doc’s account of the birthing of Elijah
Center.
One of those mystical experiences of DNW that stands out to
me here in Kenya, the ‘land of the Massai Warrior’, is that
encounter with the demonic, religious entity in the river
and the spiritual battle that ensued until Doc prevailed.
I am sure you remember that account so that I do not need
to go over the details; we discussed this in the recently
concluded GPI/KCN TT Seminar. The revealing of the Massai
and Filipino warriors as the mighty angels at his side at
the end of the experience, prophetically indicated, though
we have World Breakthrough Authorization and Power, there
is a particular emphasis/focus in Doc’s heart for the
continent of Africa as a priority.
This is an inherent powerful reality in my spirit
throughout this entire day and for the duration of the
week. I had a real sense of knowing that we were, together,
engaging in spiritual doings that are eternal and ancient,
therefore we are/were, totally, an indomitable force as we
executed the divine mandate.
Prophetic Ministry for KCN Kenya.
There was a very strong sense of expectation within the
hearts of the Senior Elders, a real hunger of spirit to
hear and live ‘by every word that continuously proceeds
from the Mouth of God.’
This hunger together with the new technology of the
re-Brand-ed prophetic Dimension created an atmosphere that
was very conducive for accessing the Mind of God. There is
no doubt that the Global Prophetic Initiative is an
entirely new mandate and expression of our Father’s heart
to affect the nations of the earth through sons that are
hardwired to His Mind and global intent.
It was absolutely great working with Scott and flowing
together as a team. While we are not seduced by peoples’
comments and feedback that really confirmed the powerful
accuracy of the ministering to their lives, it was awesome
to know that they were not just blessed, but impacted and
empowered to build what God wants in their KC’s, the region
and nations of East Africa.
The primary focus of the GPI is not to bless but to Build
authoritatively in Apostolic Grace.
Ezra 6:14. So the elders of the Jews/KCN built, and they
prospered through the prophesying of GPI/Haggai the prophet
and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they built and finished
it, according to the commandment of the God of
Israel/Congress WBN, and according to the command/mandate
of DNW/Cyrus, Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
Two days with all the KCN Kenya
The meetings over Friday and Saturday were very significant
as well as the Thursday sessions. The structure was there
were two sessions from 9-1pm with a 15 minute break
between, and then we went for lunch.
After lunch for the entire post lunch session of
approximately 3-4 hours we prophesied to 12 Pastors and
wives on Friday and 18 pastors on Saturday. It was great
stuff. We had fun; without frivolity!! We worked together
with two good guys in Ken and Andrew. They both attended
the 2003 Intensive Apostolic Encounter.
Scott taught on the “The Internal Drivers” and “The
Iceberg Principle” for the two sessions on Friday. The
people were thoroughly impacted and appraised of the new
demands of the Spirit for accurate heart positions in this
new initiative. For three to four hours we prophesied over
the twelve pastors and their spouses.
This evening we are going to “The Carnivore” for dinner
with Joseph, Jean
and eight members of the Core Team. We will eat lamb,
alligator, chicken, gazelle, crocodile meatballs and camel,
with the ubiquitous pork ribs and beef.
It was a great time of fellowship and hanging out with the
guys.
Saturday’s Explosion of Sight and Prophetic Activation.
This final day began with the teaching on “The Principles
of Sight (vs. Blindness.”) followed by a case study of the
myopic of the statement made by a very popular and well
known American Christian TV Organization, “…we have
successfully made a strategic beachhead on the dark
Continent…..”
The feedback and interactions went exceptionally well as
people were taught how to see into the hidden architecture
of human thinking and the myopic deception that plagues
most of the church in the Western world. After all was said
and done and that session was completed, the question was
asked by Scott to all of us, “What are the areas of our own
lives where we do not have ‘sight’?” What are the areas
that we are blinded by our own prejudices, fears,
incompetence, etc,?
Scott led us corporately in the prayer for sight! A most
fitting crescendo as a powerful wave of prophetic sight and
clarity broke upon the shores of personal myopia; washing
away the debris of cultural prejudice, the scales of
spiritual blindness, and the seaweeds of human inaccuracy.
It was a time of internal cleansing and personal
transformation.
This concluded in a time of spontaneous, tumultuous
worship.
Thank God for continuous sight and ever increasing
comprehension.
Prophecy and Workshop.
The post lunch session began with three-four hours of
prophesying over an ever lengthening list of pastors who
seem to be multiplying in numbers. Eventually, Scott had to
stop the proceeding around 5:30pm (I ministered to the last
pastors who tendered their names late) in order to impart
some of the Spirit of Prophecy into the entire assembly of
several hundred people, by having all the Senior Elders to
stand side by side in front of the City Hall.
Then the people were required to form lines in front of the
twenty-odd Leaders so they can be ministered to. It was
absolutely wonderful to see people really being impacted.
Ultimately, the most rewarding honorarium, was the comments
given by the pastors, as they were immensely grateful for
the empowerment, confidence and the competence to impart
the prophetic flow to all whom they ministered to, and it
was now a part of their technology to impact their Kingdom
Communities!
What can we say but, “Fait accompli!!!!”
SUMMARY.
• There was deep hunger in the hearts of KCN Senior Elders
and the Communities for the new Prophetic dimension of the
GPI.
• All the Senior Elders were powerfully impacted and
empowered to build the purposes of God to the finish.
• There is the spotlight of God intensely focused upon the
African Continent in a unique way; Scott spoke about the
African Renaissance.
• There is the technology to build to the finish as the
Apostolic and Prophetic synergize to become one foundation
on which all the KCN’s are built and fully furnished.
• The Operating Systems of the GPI must be continuously
built and defined on the principles/values of the Hodos of
the Primary Apostolic Source and the technology of The
Congress Way.
• The prophetic dealings of God with DNW can be put on
DVD/CD for distribution as a flash presentation along with
all the teachings of the GPI for ‘standardization’ within
the Congress.
In Ezra 4-6; the Reformation that was initiated by the
Apostolic Leadership of Zerubbabel and Joshua was stymied
for sixteen years by opposition and resistance.
The divine activation of the GPI Dimension marrying with
the Apostolic Grace was a most potent and lethal joining
that engineered the momentum, and demanded the powerful
release of resources, divine connections and decrees from
political and economic systems that empowered Zerubbabel’s
Congress to build irresistibly, unstoppably and mightily to
the finish.
We will build to the finish, to “…the place where the land
touches the sea and the ribbon of blue stretches into
eternity..”
